What is new for the 2015/2016 ski season

For the 2015/16 ski season PDS will be offering both a ski school service during the season and a specialist academy for the more advanced skier.

To start our blog off we have written about what we have to offer next season and what you can expect from this blog in the future.  You will find two sections below firstly for those interested in ski school and the second half for those looking for a little more through our camps and adventure courses.

Onwards and upwards for PDS Ski School

Last season was an brilliant one. It was awesome to ski with so many fantastic clients, watch some inspirational skiing from the young academy members and enjoy the buzz around Morzine and Les Gets.

Next season we are delighted to bring you four more of Britain’s top instructors and a range of new courses to have fun and improve your skiing skills on. Our bigger and better team means we have more groups to cater for your whole party and options for all levels, with the flexibility to help you discover the whole Portes du Soleil.

We pride ourselves on learning through adventure

For children it is all about the adventure and having a role model that can inspire them instil self confidence. Our mission is to educate your children on how to enjoy the mountains safely whilst having the time of their lives.

For adults ski lessons are all about having fun with relaxed, charismatic and good looking ski instructors so that’s what we have for you 😉 They also know a thing or to about skiing.

Staying away from set routines is what sets us apart

Our skilled ski instructors will offer your small group a unique experience helping you to learn the skills you need to conquer the whole mountain. We want to show you what  Avoriaz, Morzine or Les Gets have to offer so will teach you on the move staying clear of long lines and long winded explanations.

You can also choose your instructor for a private ski lesson just for you or with friends have a look at our team to see how we specialise in different areas.

  4. Advise on how to make the most of your ski lessons in Avoriaz, Morzine or Les Gets

For the ski enthusiast

New for next year are week long courses from our specialists in each area. Take a look through our calendar at our range of courses throughout the year. To give you a taster of what we have scheduled for next year, we have:

  1. Pre season warm up on some of Europe’s best glaciers
  2. Intro to race courses from ex British team athletes and coaches
  3. Off piste adventures from athletes on the freeride world tour
  4. Piste skills to work on carving the perfect two lines
  5. Bumps, steeps and variable snow

Courses in the Portes du Soleil

The Portes du Soleil is the perfect location for you to take a long weekend course touring off piste or improving your piste skills over a week. With Morzine and Les Gets being only a short 1 hour transfer from Geneva you can spend more time skiing and making the most of the 650km on offer.

Courses in the Grand Massif

Also located a very short trip from Geneva Flaine is our base in the Grand Massif with 265km of pistes to explore. We will be offering performance courses and race training on a regular basis.

Courses all over the world

Also new for this year will be adventure packages and courses outside of the Portes du Soleil and Grand Massif, exploring new areas and visiting some of the classic resorts.

During the summer and autumn we putting on for you variety of courses on Europe’s top Glaciers to help you improve your technique and warm up for the winter.

We will be working closely with chalet and hotels to bring you the best value and take the stress away from your trip. We will do the hard work so you can focus on skiing and relaxing with like minded ski enthusiasts.
